The You're Welcome quality criteria are a set of criteria against which organisations who deliver health services can prove they are young-people friendly. The government's aim is that by 2020 all health services who work with young people will have the You're Welcome kite mark.
What are the implications of You're Welcome for the third sector, both as service providers and for the young people we work with? How can third sector organisations get involved in this important initiative?
NCB is holding half-day events around the country in partnership with regional government offices, designed specifically for voluntary and community sector organisations. These events will cover the policy background to You're Welcome, the implications of the initiative to the third sector, and how third sector organisations can get involved. Government Office leads for You're Welcome will be at each event, as well as representatives from statutory and voluntary organisations who have been involved in it.
